Introductions

Winnie, who majored in English, has a TEM-8 certificate, an advanced certificate in business English and a senior high school teaching certification. She has previously worked as an IELTS instructor and taught full-time in a business English school. As well as that, she has previously worked as a volunteer teacher in Luoyang and as a conference interpreter and she has a lot of experience translating official documents for studying abroad. Winnie likes to travel, having been to Thailand, Indonesia and many cities around China. In class, she is passionate about inspiring students to talk and share their ideas in class, helping them realize their dreams of speaking English fluently. She believes that education should be regarded “not as the filling of a pail, but as the lighting of a fire”.
